Neecy Twinem is an award-winning
children's book author and illustrator
of over 26 published books. Her titles
are full of her richly-textured, brightly
colored artwork and simple text.
Neecy has illustrated for a variety of
markets, including puzzles, t-shirts,
greeting cards, classroom readers,
book covers and magazines. As well as
public murals and private collections.
Twinem is a regular speaker at schools,
conferences and literacy festivals across
the country. She loves to share the
process of creating books with children
and adults. She graduated with a fine
arts degree from the San Francisco
Art Institute. Neecy enjoys writing and
illustrating in the inspiring natural
surroundings of her new home studio
in the Sandia Mountains of New Mexico.
